Noreen McDonald, Chair
Noreen was employed by the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board and taught at a high school in Bradford. Noreen resides in Barrie and retired from teaching. Noreen served on the Camphill Communities Ontario Board of Directors beginning in June 2013; she now sits on the board of Camphill Foundation Canada.

Craig Aucoin, Treasurer
Craig is a financial professional with the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is Vice President, Portfolio Manager at ValueTrend Wealth Management in Barrie. He was previously on the Board of Directors and Chaired the Grants committee of the Barrie Community Foundation. He lives in Toronto with his family.

Charles (Chuck) Kyd, Secretary
Chuck is a founding member of Camphill Communities Ontario (1986) and of the Camphill Foundation Canada (20000. He served on the board of the Camphill Association of North America and is currently on the board of the North American Council for Curative Education and Social Therapy. He lives in Barrie with his wife Diane and is closely connected with Camphill.

Elizabeth Campbell, Director
Following a career in public education and thereafter, in Waldorf education, Elizabeth joined Camphill Communities Ontario in 2005. There she shared a variety of life experiences with persons supported and colleagues. Since 2019 Elizabeth has been part of a rural community in south western Ontario and continues to be deeply interested in the life and work of Camphill Communities Ontario and Camphill Foundation Canada.

Barry Marynick, Director
Barry is a retired high school guidance counsellor, educator and social worker who served on the Camphill Communities Ontario board for over 10 years. His sister-in-law Marina Finch lived at Camphill for 17 years.

Matt Heintz, Director
Originally from France, Matt moved to Canada in the early 1970s, studying at the Toronto Waldorf School which laid the foundation for his future endeavours. Matt carved out a niche in the field of Engineering, specializing in the intricate processes of selling and assembling aircraft on a global scale.
Matt is an advocate of Anthroposophy along with Rudolf Steiner’s studies of literature and Biodynamic agriculture. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Waldorf School in Barrie and raised funds for a food program in India. Matt’s multifaceted background reflects not only personal growth but also a profound dedication to social impact.
