At Camphill Communities Ontario, we have expanding Social Enterprises which provide opportunity for supported people to gain new skills and be pioneers in sustainable social enterprise.

We have growing Social Enterprises at Camphill Communities Ontario, including our Market Gardens, Herbery, and Maple Syrup Social Enterprise, all creating opportunities for supported persons to learn new skills, create meaningful paid work opportunities, and be innovators in sustainable social enterprise.

Through our Social Enterprises we are:

  • Developing sustainable businesses with positive social, economic and ecological impacts.

  • Facilitating skills development to support employment, volunteer, and recreational opportunities for adults with disabilities.

  • Highlighting the contributions of people with all abilities as they become active leaders in sustainable social enterprises.

  • Growing an awareness of Camphill as an excellent organization with a strong reputation.

  • Fostering strategic regional partnerships and outreach, making even more connections and opportunities.
